Baby Quilt

I started piecing together these large scale fussy cut hexagons years ago using this tutorial.  It's a nifty trick and fun to do.  I had dreams of making this into a queen size quilt but decided a teeny baby blanket was more realistic.

This project sat unfinished for a few years until I found out my daughter's teacher was having a baby girl in July. It's the perfect size for covering baby in a stroller or car seat.

I quilted with simple stripes using the quilting guide attachment that came with my machine.  My stripes are a bit wobbly, but it's okay - adds to the handmade charm!  Backed with Liberty of London, Tana Lawn in Pepper. So soft!!

I hope mom and baby like it!!
