Thank you for sharing! I've made one sock so far, and it is so cozy and warm on my leg, and it fits perfectly. I can't wait to finish the second one so I can have a full pair. I also am a lefty, and I'm teaching myself to crochet with books, videos, etc. I didn't find it problematic to make this just by following the directions. Originally I tried to add stitches and rows to make it fit correctly but it came out WAY too big! I was able to follow the pattern exactly (with one alteration: when making the heel opening I did 11 fsc and still skipped only the 9 stitches) using the bulkier yarn and ended up with perfectly sized socks that he enjoys :)

p.s: Sorry I am very new to crocheting, so I didn't think to save the tag so I knew how big the yarn was, only that I bought the hook that was suggested for that yarn and it was a 6mm (it also says J10 if that is helpful)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2225049573788582558.post-84884178074848128432016-11-30T17:33:23.833-08:002016-11-30T17:33:23.833-08:00Love this pattern.. So if I am working the next increase round, on my new round am I adding a 3rd double crochet into the stitch that would have had 2 double crochets, OR instead of x number of stitches with 2 double crochets, I am going to use another stitch which would have had a 1 Double crochet as a 2 double crochet stitch? I am so sorry if I sound confusing. Also, a separate question, If I am not wanting to make it wider but longer such as making it knee high, do I just continue the normal double crochet around or do I continue to the same increase round multiple times?Fefehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14850384345718247716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2225049573788582558.post-15092002612180511172016-04-03T10:53:03.912-07:002016-04-03T10:53:03.912-07:00Hi,
